Royal Nonso Alikor, known publicly as Royal Alikor, is a Nigerian educator, curriculum developer, EdTech entrepreneur and software product builder.
His work sits at the intersection of education and technology: understanding how teachers, learners and schools actually work, then designing digital systems that remove friction instead of adding another layer of complexity.
From schools to software products
Before Cyberfrond became the home for his software work, Royal’s professional background included school leadership, administration and ICT teaching. He served as a school principal at Nectar’s Academy and worked in administrative and ICT teaching roles at Landmark International Christian School.
That experience matters because education technology is easiest to misunderstand from outside a school. Timetables, curriculum sequences, classroom preparation, teacher workload, unreliable connectivity and changing policy all shape whether a product is actually useful.
HeadTeacher.ng and education publishing
Royal founded and developed HeadTeacher.ng as a teacher-focused education platform. The work includes curriculum resources, lesson notes, structured publishing systems, mobile applications and tools designed to help teachers find and use classroom material more efficiently.
Curriculum development and educational writing remain part of that work. The software is not separate from the content model; each informs the other.
Cyberfrond
Cyberfrond brings the broader engineering work under one studio: WordPress development, web platforms, Flutter applications, APIs, custom plugins, performance systems and digital product development for both owned products and client work.
What I care about
I prefer software that solves the current problem clearly, remains maintainable and leaves room to evolve. I care about information architecture, performance, offline resilience, editorial workflows and the small product decisions that determine whether a technically correct system is pleasant to use.
